June 26, 2011 at 9:15 amThe donation is a great idea. Also, if anyone has a dog that eats hard food, you should also consider stock piling canned food for them. I had a dog growing up that got sick and was only allowed to eat soft food (not sure why) until she was better. Ever since then, I have also had a stock pile of canned food for that “just in case” whether its for a cat or a dog. I only buy it if I have a GREAT deal but otherwise I do all these offers and save them in my laundry room. Just an idea.

The reason I have a stockpile is I try not to go too often because it breaks my heart and I want to bring them all home with me. 🙁
