  1. I was excited that I had all these ingredients on hand so I whipped up a batch real quick. It was so good! I had some blueberries that needed to be used so I threw them in too. Delicious and easy!

  2. Debbie Downer says

Actually, raw flour is potentially dangerous, too. 🙁

    • DD doesn't surprise me says

Really a shame how our foods have become so poisonous through the years. We used to eat raw meat, raw cookie dough, raw eggs, drink raw milk and whatever else raw we wanted as a kid and never…I mean NEVER got sick from it.
With all the despicable ways the government has allowed our foods to be grown and processed, we are in worse shape than we were the years before refrigeration was developed. It’s a pity our own kids can’t enjoy their foods like we did.

    • Probably why they have you heat the flour in microwave for 2 mins

    • That’s why you heat-treat the flour in the microwave….to kill the bacteria.

    • you can use cornstarch instead of raw flour

  3. CAN YOU BAKE THIS AND MAKE A RESONABLE COOKIE OUT OF IT?

  4. YUM!!! This looks amazing. My hubby is a cookie dough-aholic, but the raw eggs are no good. So, this is a great alternative! So excited to try this! I didn’t know raw flour was bad for you, is that why you heated it up? I’m visiting from Fabulously frugal thursday linky party! 🙂

  5. Mmmmmm …. looks delicious!!!

  12. This is AMAZING!!!! Just tried it today! Yummy! 😛

  13. Does it still bake normally?? Just wondering before I do and my cookies turn out all funky!lol

  14. So..microwaved the flour like it said to…. my bowl exploded in the microwave… Flour like burned and then caused my bowl to explode.. what on earth?!

    • It’s probably best to bake the flour instead of using the microwave, just put it on a cookie sheet and put into the oven. When you cook the flour, it is no longer dangerous to eat in the cookie dough.

    • I once did this for 121 seconds and monkeys broke into the kitchen and started using my sippy cups. I also tell users only on this thread not to heat ingredients up in the microwave. (I actually had water start to bubble this one time…) Terrible. Just terrible.

    • Was the bowl cold before it went in there? Was it a Pyrex? I read that can happen from extreme temperature changes?

    • Same for me so I just put in regular flower and it tastes delicious

  15. Does it keep well? Can I freeze it and enjoy later?

  16. It’s the flour that makes you sick…..full off bacteria..

  17. About how many cups does this make? Does anyone know?

  18. Barbara gruner says

Now if this was mint chocolate than we would be talking

  19. I cut all the numbers in half and it was the perfect serving size for one person!

  20. Raw flour is generally safe to eat. There are no specific recommendations on heating flour before eating it like there are for other raw foods like eggs and meats. Not sure where the whole raw flour bacteria thing came from but it’s a myth.

  21. I don’t understand. I did exactly what the recipe said and yet it tastes vile! It was so strong.

  22. Tastes great, but I recommend letting the flour cool a bit first. My chocolate chips melted when I mixed them in. Still yummy though!

  23. I made it and my family loved it but the first time I baked the flour and burned it so I had to do it again for 1 min. but other than thit it was a smooth make

  24. now my kitchen smells like burnt flour thanks a lot

  25. My whole house now smells like Burnt flour, oops! I just used raw flour, tastes great!

  26. So good I love this recipe and it’s super easy to make
