Ingredients:

  • 4 Chicken Breasts (we use frozen)
  • 3-4 Coves of Garlic
  • 2-3 cups unsalted chicken broth or chicken stock – just enough to halfway cover chicken
  • Mrs. Dash seasoning (we use garlic & herb AND Original blend) – season as much as you want (I recommend a lot since it is salt-free and a “free food”).

Directions:

Combine everything in the crock pot and cook for 10 hours on low! It will shred really, really easily.

Comments

  1. HOW MANY HOURS ON HIGH?

  2. anyone know the containers for this

  3. Anissa Thompson says

For anyone doing the 21 day fix, fill your red container with the chicken. This recipe should fill a few containers. The amount of servings depends on the size of your chicken breasts. Definitely something you could make while food prepping for the week!!

  4. I just put this in the crock pot! It already smells pretty good. Thanks for the fantastic recipe – excited to try it tonight!

  5. If you’re not using frozen chicken would you leave it for fewer hours or still 10?

  6. I made this today and it was yummy!!!!

  7. Can you do frozen chicken

  8. Katharine Moore says

What would you serve with this?

  9. How long would you leave it if you didn’t want it shredded and remain a breast?

  10. Thaw your chicken before using it frozen in the crockpot. The time between the thaw and when it gets to temperature is enough time to breed harmful bacteria.

  11. Do you crush the garlic cloves?

    • It doesn’t look like they did, but that’s the only way to get the full benefit of the garlic. I’m going to grate it.

  12. New to 21 Day Fix. Those are 1 serving containers? That Red container looks big for a one serving.
