Many people have made the switch from a traditional coffee maker to a pod coffee maker such as the Keurig K Cup machine. K cup machines have become more and more popular in the last couple of years due to their ease of use and convenience. However, once the coffee is done we are left with those little empty coffee pods. Before you go to throw them away, why not reuse them? - Seedling Containers: K Cup’s make the perfect starter for any new seedling. Simply, plant your seed into the K Cup with a small amount of fresh soil. Let the seedling grow in the cup until it’s ready to be moved to a larger container. To get extra creative, have the kids draw on the K Cups to make them extra special for the seeds.
- Paint Tool: If it’s art day around the house with the kids, try to use K Cup’s as a new painting tool. The open part at the top will make perfect paint stamped circles, while the bottom of the cup will give you full, colored in circles to play around with.
