Amazon’s at it again with a FREE MP3 credit! You can get a $2 credit to spend on albums from the MP3 store on Amazon, just use the code HEARTMP3!

You can then head on over to the Bestsellers MP3 page and you will see a bunch of songs for $0.99! Last time I got “Somebody That I Used To Know” by Gotye and “We Are Young” (feat. Janelle Monáe) – I LOVE these songs!

Expires 7/11/12.

e-mail sent Sunday night from here says $3 but it is only $2. I think this is all she meant by her post.

Sorry friends, this promotion is now expired.

How to I get this apply. When I hit buy mp3 it automatically charges my card on file and there is no place to put the code in.

Scroll to the near bottom of the Amazon MP3 store; you will see a link on the left, under the mp3 categories-that mentions “Give a gift card, gift a Mp3 instantly”-click that and under the redeem code-put the HEARTMP3; it gave me $3!

Easier way: In the blog post, if you click on “Free MP3 credit” it takes you to a page that says “How to Redeem Your AmazonLocal Voucher Code for $3 off MP3 Albums or Songs”. You click on “enter code” and then you can put it in.

I also think this is where the $2/$3 confusion was coming in. This says $3 but that was for something the other day…the HEARTMP3 “promotional credit” is what this is for and it’s just $2. But still. $5 in free music. Not complaining one bit.
