Homemade Barbecue Sauce

One of the main components of any barbecued food is a good barbecue sauce. But sometimes, store bought sauces can get pricey, so why not make your own at home? Not only is it easy to make your own barbecue sauce, you can also customize it to make your own secret recipe. Whether you use this recipe as it is or if you put your special spin on it, it’s perfect for any grill! Check out the recipe below to make your own barbecue sauce:
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 Cups Of Ketchup
- 1/2 Cup Of Brown Sugar
- 1/2 Cup Of Water
- 3 Tablespoons Vinegar
- 3 Tablespoons Of Worcestershire Sauce
- Salt & Pepper To Taste
Optional Add Ins: Onions, Garlic, Paprika, Oregano Etc.
Instructions:
- Combine all ingredients a small saucepan over medium to low heat and stir till combined.
- Once mixed, let sauce simmer for 25-35 minutes or until it has reached its desired constancy.
- Sauce is ready to be used right away or can be cooled and stored for up to 2 weeks.
