  1. My favorite soup ever and I don’t even go to Panera to get the soup anymore. My recipe is almost the same, I add minced garlic to mine, just 1-2 cloves. I make this almost all year long.

  2. I’m making this now, it looks great! Can’t wait to dig in!

  3. This looks delicious! Pinned it! Thanks for sharing at Keeping It Simple Crafts!

  7. Can’t wait to try this! I love the Panera version, so better yet if I can make it at home. By the way, your Ritz cracker-coated chicken recipe has become a family favorite. My kids especially love it!

  8. Your soup looks fabulous! Thanks so much for sharing with Full Plate Thursday and have a very Merry Christmas!

  9. How much does this end up making? Not sure if I need to double it or not.

  10. Anyone ever try this in a crockpot for busy days?

  11. The nutmeg in this ruins the soup. I made it the other day and my boyfriend wouldn’t even eat it…. I ended up throwing it out. Leave the nutmeg out and I’m sure it would have been much better. Yuck.

  12. Just made this delicious soup for dinner! It turned out really well. Next time I might cook the veggies a little longer to soften them, mine were quite firm. I disagree with Justine about the nutmeg, we didn’t taste it at all so I really had no problem. Another tip for next time, more cheese!! Though that’s just my personal preference πŸ™‚

  13. Greetings from Florida! I’m bored to tears at work so I decided to
browse your blog on my new iphone 4 during lunch break.
I enjoy the knowledge you present here and can’t wait
to take a look when I get home. I’m shocked at how quick
your blog stuffed on my phone .. I’m not even using WIFI, just 3G ..
    Anyhow, great site!

  14. I like the valuable info you provide to your articles. I will bookmark

  15. I think this is one of the most significant info for me. And i’m
glad reading your article. But want to remark on few general things, The site
style is great, the articles is really nice :
    D. Good job, cheers

  16. I absolutely LOVE this soup. It tastes just like panera. We finished it all so I am making more. This time I’m cutting the amount of nutmeg in half. It wasn’t bad, but I tasted the nutmeg a little too much. I’m also adding garlic with the vegetables.

  17. Does anyone know how many servings this makes? I didn’t see it listed.

    • I’d like to know that, too. I think since it has 4 c. liquid and a lot if broccoli, 6 cups would be a good estimate. I’m going to take a chance and not double it for 6 people on Christmas Eve. Hope it’s not a mistake.

My daughter in law made this the other night and it was great! I want to make it at home, but need to make more than she did. Can you double the recipe and get the same results?
