Cotton Candy Cookies are perfect for kids!
There is something about Cotton Candy that I just love…it may be because it melts in your mouth or because it’s soft and super sweet! I love it and love this next recipe for Cotton Candy Cookies! These babies just melt in your mouth and the kiddos are sure to down them.
These are great for Birthday parties too! 😉
Ingredients
- Be sure to Folllow Raining Hot Coupons on Pinterest for more RECIPES!
- 5-6 cups Powdered Sugar
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 1 packet of Duncan Hines Cotton Candy Frosting Creations (you can also use different flavors to get different flavored cookies).
- Whipped Cream (for topping)
Instructions
- Mix together Cream cheese, frosting creations packet and powdered sugar (add the powdered sugar slowly and mix well).
- Place this "blue dough" in the fridge for about 30 minutes
- In the blender, blend your regular sugar (pulse about 5-6 times) until the sugar is fine and almost like a powdered sugar blend.
- Take your dough and make patties out of them (you will want to use your blended fine sugar as "flour" because the dough will be very sticky so sprinkle it on a board and on your hands when working with the cookies.
- Place on a sheet of wax paper and use the whipped cream for a topping along with sprinkles if you'd like.
- *These do melt pretty quickly so you can store them in the fridge and eat them quickly (although, they most likely won't last long 😉 ).

I’m in New Zealand and can’t access the “cotton candy frosting creations” ingredient. If I made my own frosting, would this work? I’m assuming it’s just a flavored frosting in a packet? If not, what would be a closest thing to it?
Thanks 🙂
No baking???? Trying to make these now with 2 little girls and the whole thing just seems bizarre!
