I would highly recommend printing each store’s coupon policy that you shop at. You can put them in your coupon binder so that way you have them at the store if a cashier gives you a hard time or doesn’t want to let you use a certain coupon. Yes, this does happen sometimes so it becomes very handy to have them for each store you shop at.

Love your videos and our site is amazing! Super helpful. Today I will attempt my first shopping outing with my new coupon binder that I finished yesterday. I plan to start at CVS, if I am not mistaken, they don’t accept printed coupons from the internet?? Please let me know cuz I have some good ones I want to use and dont want to have any issues with the cashiers and ruin my first experience and get discouraged from future shipping outings. Let me know. Thanks! by the way, any tips for this first-timer?

I meant YOUR site not OUR…lol sorry!
Hot Coupon Mamas saysJanuary 23, 2011 at 3:21 pm
Thank you Elizabeth! They should accept your printed coupons but each store seems to feel different about this. My tips would be to shop your cashier! I know that may sound crazy but try to choose someone who looks like they won’t give you trouble with your coupons. =) Also, make sure and have all your coupons organized and pulled out before you go to the register. It will make things go more smoothly. I usually stand in a lonesome aisle and get everything ready to check out! I hope that helps, let me know how your trip goes or went. =)

How do you print the rite aid policy? I tired selecting the pic and printing, and even print preview but nothing shows up.
Sarah saysApril 26, 2011 at 8:31 pm
I did the same thing. At the bottom of the page there should be a faint picture of a printer and other things, click the printer, and it should print right out for you!
Sarah saysApril 26, 2011 at 8:30 pm
I read over all the coupon policies and printed them out, thanks so much for this! So if I understand it correctly, at Target you can use a Target coupon with a manufactures coupon, or with an online coupon? But you may only use two coupons at the time of purchase with one item? So if I print the “Free airwick freshmatic gadget, with the purchase of an airwick freshmatic refill” I can use another coupon on the refill? And possibly get both items free?
I’m new to this, and I just want to be sure before I go in there expecting my order to be a certain price. Thank you!
cassie saysJune 10, 2011 at 5:03 pm
I’ve been watching the coupon show and that is how I take it . Just like if you do bogo( buy one get one) you can use 2 coupons cause they are still considered 2 purchases.
kellyjp saysMay 5, 2011 at 1:25 pm
Our walmart refuses to take internet coupons anymore because they said they got stiffed on payments.

I have a question about the Walgreens coupon policy.
It says that the number of coupons may not exceed the number of items in the transaction.
So I have the $5 /1 Nature Made calcium coupon (which I think is a Walgreens coupon) and I have a $1/1 Nature Made product (manufacturers coupon). The Calcium was on sale at my walgreens for $6.99, so I am hoping to get these for only $.99.
Will I be able to use both coupons on this 1 item? Or will I have to buy something else just so I have 2 items with my 2 coupons? Please advise!! 🙂

Hi. Just a quick question on Walmart policy. Can I use 2 BOGO coupons and get the 2 items free there. Example: I have the new Suave BOGO coupons for either body wash or lotion. Can I use 2 coupons on the 2 items to get both free? Or do I still have to purchase something to get the one free?
Robin Dryden saysFebruary 15, 2013 at 5:05 pm
Hey, I dont know about Wal-Mart’s policy on BOGO but Winn-Dixie always lets me.
cassie saysJune 10, 2011 at 5:07 pm
I’m still trying to figure out how to get stuff for free . I don’t know if i have enough coupons. I’ve just started and i guess i have to afew weeks worth.
Christin saysJune 13, 2011 at 4:02 pm
I don’t know if its clarified in the coupon policy, but at my Walgreens in Indy this weekend the vitamins were on sale for $10, I had a $2 coupon and then $10 RR, so they should be a money maker of $2…but unfortunately they were out of stock, and had been all week. Finally on Sunday I ask for a raincheck and their manager tells me that the raincheck will be for the sale price but that I can’t get the RR with a raincheck. So basically the deals aren’t worthwhile unless what you want is in stock, which near me it usually isn’t unless you go first thing Sunday morning…bummer. Anyone else run into this?
Lori saysJuly 4, 2011 at 11:03 am
At our local Walgreens locations I have noticed that they will be out of the items that are on sale and have RR. Only if you are at the Walgreens when the sale/RR starts (EARLY Sunday morning) can you get the item’s deal, because they don’t stock many and they go fast. Then they will be out of them until the sale/RR is expired. Then they get another shipment in for them. Again, yes, I can have a raincheck, but only for the sale price.
Peggy Everly saysSeptember 21, 2011 at 11:02 am
If they are out, take your coupon to wallmart and price match, so you don’t loose your coupon price.
Julie saysJanuary 6, 2012 at 10:45 am
I run into this alot and it sucks, and nothing you can do about it either. 🙁 Its not just you hun.
samantha saysJune 14, 2011 at 1:52 am
Buy One Get One Free Coupons (BOGO):
· BOGO coupons cannot be combined (i.e. you cannot use two BOGO coupons on two items and get both for free). Unless stated otherwise on the coupon, the use of one Buy One Get One Free coupon requires that two of the valid items are presented at checkout of which one item will be charged to the guest and the 2nd item will be discounted by its full retail price.
· A second cents-off coupon of the same type cannot be redeemed towards the purchase price of the first item.
o If a Target BOGO coupon is used, one additional manufacturer coupon maybe used on the first item.
o If a Manufacturer BOGO coupon is used, one additional Target coupon may be used on the first item.
I was looking at your store policy for target. We have them B1G1 coupons for Gillette Body wash and then we also have the 2.00 off of one. From what I understand from the store policy is that you can’t use the 2 coupons together. Example: Gillette body wash 2.99 use the 2.00 off and then use the B1G1 = .99 for 2. You can either use the 2.00 off 1 or the B1G1. Just wondering if you could clarify this. thank you Samantha
Kelly saysJune 27, 2011 at 5:40 pm
Hey – love the site! It has been such a HUGE help, especially since I am brand new to coupons. I was just wondering if you had a list of the stores that do allow you to use B1G1 coupons – so you can get 2 things free. I know Target doesn’t do this and I had an issue with it at Walgreen’s – but the lady did let me use them, their policy doesn’t say you can’t. Any advice on who does and who doesn’t? Thanks

I love your site and it has helped me tons but I have a Walmart question. Do they price match and honor coupons on that item or just price match it? I found a great deal on some emerald breakfast on the go and the store that has them on sale no longer accepts printable coupons so I had to pay the full price. Was thinking to take them to Walmart and have them do the price match so that I can use my coupons. Thanks!

I am loving this coupon thing i have spent so much time getting everything together but it is definately worth it. I have saved so much money with all the techniques i have learned from your site and other sites from utube. I am still getting the hang of everything but once i have save so much and got so much it makes me feel much more happier. I have spent so much money in the past just trying to get by. I have not been shopping for food yet, i need to find out where i can shop and have my coupons doubled i don’t believe walmart doubles but i need to investigate this info.

I have a question. I have heard from several people that you can redeem you Register Rewards from Walgreens at a few other stores other than Walgreens. (Wal-Mart, Albertsons..) My friend used hers at Albertsons with no problem. I went to do use mine at Wal-Mart and the cashier started to make a scene so I just told her to forget it. I was wondering if you have heard anything like this at all??? I was thinking of emailing Wal-Mart to ask.
Thank you for all your Coupon help!! You have helped me save lots!
lasean saysSeptember 2, 2011 at 3:30 pm
I would suggest you print walmarts coupon policy they take competitors coupons, i would suggest you go to a young male cashier they are easier to deal with a lot of the time. happy savings.
Felicia A saysAugust 30, 2011 at 12:19 pm
I love this…you might want to consider adding Walmarts Price Match.

my question is can i only use one coupon on one item like if i want to buy something and i have a coupon from SS and RP of the same item do i have to use only one or can i use both manufactor
KIM saysMarch 6, 2013 at 11:35 am
FROM MY EXPERIENCE YOU CAN ONLY USE 1 MANUFACTURERS COUPON AND 1 STORE COUPON PER ITEM. AND NOW MOST STORES IN MY AREA (MASSACHUSETTS) WILL ONLY ALLOW YOU TO USE COUPONS ON 4 TO 5 LIKE PRODUCTS. EXAMPLE IF I AM AT TARGET AND PAMPERS ARE ON SALE, I HAVE MANUFACTURERS COUPONS FROM RP AND TARGET HAS A COUPON FOR PAMPERS I CAN BUY 4 BOXES, USE 4 MANUFACTURERS COUPONS FROM RP AND THEN I CAN ALSO USE 4 OF THE TARGET COUPONS. THIS IS CALLED STACKING. I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO DO THIS ON 5 BOXES OF PAMPERS AND I CAN NOT USE 8 OF MY MANUFACTURES COUPONS ON THE 4 BOXES EITHER.

Have you aye thought anent the processes from which a book is passed before coming into your hands? It is not a stolid path to write down a book as well publishing it. Writing in itself is a crabbed job. So why not we tell on the obstacles and hurdles in the way of writing a book? Why dont we declaim on getting help from book writing software?

Can I just say what a relief to find an individual who actually
knows what they’re discussing over the internet. You certainly know how to bring
a problem to light and make it important. More people should
check this out and understand this side of the story.
I was surprised you are not more popular since you most certainly
have the gift.
