Apple Crisp in the Crock Pot is a recipe that anyone can make! It’s sweet and the crispy, crunchy topping with vanilla ice cream is divine!

I have always loved Apple crisp, apple pie, and well, pretty much anything with apples! Apple crisp can normally take some time to make but when you throw it all in the crock pot, it makes it SO easy and anyone can do it.

Kid’s love this too since they get ice cream.  😉

If you don’t have a crock pot yet or need to get a new one, you can get one on Amazon here for $29.92 (Reg. $49.99) + FREE shipping!

Enjoy…

Topping:

  • 1 Cup flour
  • 1/2 Cup light brown sugar
  • 1 stick of COLD butter cut into small pieces (1/2 cup)
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 Cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinammon
  • 1 Cup Oatmeal

Main mix:

  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 6 cups of apples cut and sliced or chopped (about 5 apples) I used red
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Directions:

  1. Combine all of the topping ingredients in a bowl (not including butter) and mix.
  2. Add the chunks of butter to the mix from above and use your hands to mix it together (you want to have small chunks of butter throughout because this is what makes the “crisp”)
  3. Put apples in slow cooker on bottom and mix in 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  4. In a separate bowl mix together 1 tablespoon cornstarch,1/2 cup granulated sugar, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon apple crisp 2
  5. Pour mixture from step above over apples and mix together until everything is coated well. apple crisp 4
  6. Pour topping from step 1 over top (do NOT stir in) apple crisp 1
  7. Place a towel over the top and under the lid (this will absorb the moisture and condensation build up so it does not drip onto your topping – this helps it get crisp). apple crisp 6
  8. Cook on high for 2 hours
  9. Take cover off and leave on warm until ready to serve (It usually needs about 45 minutes to crisp up with the lid off as long as you had a towel on while cooking). apple crisp 5
  10. Enjoy!

Oh man.. was a step left out of the directions? I can see in the final pic that she had oats in this but there weren’t any in the recipe. I have this in the crock pot right now. 🙁 I hope it still turns out ok.

It looks like she made an error when doing the recipe the second time. On the top it says that oatmeal is in the topping but on the bottom recipe she put it in the main mix. Oatmeal should only be in the topping though.

Adequate consumption of minerals and vitamins will
also be given the due attention it deserves.

Right now people all over the world is noticing it’s ability for detoxifying and cleansing because
the spice neutralizes acidity and stimulates circulation. Currently, there has not been any research that would indicate that eating spicy food during pregnancy will cause labor.

On the other hand, there are some people who say that the acid content of
spicy foods irritates the tissue around the rectal wall.
This will get your metabolism working for the remainder of the day.

Salt and lemon grass, along with fruits such as apples, apricots, peaches and plums also help to
balance the throat chakra. Normally, red wine is served while
having non-vegetarian, but white wine could also serve the same.

So, the level of taste of your dish is directly proportional to the
quality of spices used. Tuberculosis is more common in people with immune system
problems, such as HIV. Spicy food make a difference to your palate, not enabling you
to enjoy subtle flavor pairings between beverage and meals.

Different Region The Playstation Store is operated differently on different regions.
So if you have boxes of old Amiga disks, NES cartridges, or other old
gaming programs stored away somewhere, you’re in luck, otherwise you’re treading on legally shifty ground.
It almost felt like playing a Nintendo console (the fact an NES emulator can be found
in the marketplace made it feel even more so).
