actually that would make a great conditioner… I use the no shampoo method and you use 1 tablespoon of baking soda to one cup water and then conditioner I use one tablespoon apple cider vinegar to one cup water.

Lather is not actually needed to wash your hair… it’s created by the chemical sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) to make people feel like their hair is getting soapy and clean. If you do a search for ‘chemicals’ and ‘shampoo,’ you will get a LOT of results! It’s quite shocking, really.

I’ve done the apple cider and vinegar as a rinse, your hair smells slightly vinegary, but only while it’s still wet.

I have used vinegar since I was around age 10 to rid chlorine from my hair. Use the vinegar first, then shampoo, then condition. It really works! The smell does not linger either.

I rinse my dog in vinegar water every time I bath him. The vinegar takes away any soap residue and reduces irritants. It leaves his fur so soft, fluffy and shiny. He does smell a bit like a pickle factory for a while afterwards, though. :p

Vinegar can be used for so many things. I use it to clean things around the house.
