Hmmm, if I was doing this I might try this: fold up a piece of parchment paper to fit the inside of the crockpot. Then follow the recipe, taking care not to tear the paper when stirring. To chill, put the whole crock into the fridge. Then when it’s done, lift out the parchment paper and peel it off the fudge.
    What do you think?

I tried this recipe, but it didn’t harden up :/ I left it in the fridge for 8 hours and it was still liquid, so I put it in the freezer and it finally hardened after another 3 hours, but it tasted freezer-burnt, so I took it out and set it on the counter, and within 2 hours it was liquid again. 🙁 No luck for me.

I had no luck with this either. I refrigerated it for a couple of days, and it never hardened up. I told my husband that I guess I made chocolate sauce instead of fudge.

No luck here. Didn’t firm up and tasted pretty awful.

Didn’t harden even after several hours. Chocolate sauce was not what I had in mind!

What kind of coconut milk did you use? The canned kind or what is in the refrigerated milk section? Also, the kind of chips you used might make a difference. It sounds good, but I surely would want to have it look like your picture.

What can you replace the coconut milk with if your allergic? Could you use evaporated can milk instead?

that was my question – can evaporated milk work with this recipe instead of coconut milk?

I for one like to know what size crockpot when I look at any recipes. Could you please tell us what size crock you used to make this turn out right? Also what size dish do you spread it out in? All of these facts make a huge difference. Thank you

I am wondering if it is supposed to say “Coconut Oil” instead of milk. That would probably give a much better texture and taste.

This recipe is the same as one I used to make fudge…… it was great. The big difference is I used sweetened condensed milk instead of Coconut milk. Same
    amount as in your recipe.
