I will be sharing his activities with you hopefully every day, if I can get my kiddos to be good so he’ll come back from Santa’s every night.
If you want to get in on the fun you can buy your Elf on the Shelf here from Amazon.
Be sure to check out the other naughty activities Elfy has been doing here (and for more ideas)!
Haven’t got a clue what I’m talking about (I swear I haven’t just lost my mind)….read more about it here:
Year after year, children and adults alike are baffled by the mystery of how Santa really knows who’s been naughty or nice. After much urging by the elves and Mrs. Claus, Santa has allowed his biggest secret to be revealed in The Elf on the Shelf: A Christmas Tradition. At the start of each Christmas season, the elf appears to serve as Santa’s eyes and ears, traveling back to the North Pole each and every night to make a detailed report of the day’s activities. This keepsake gift set includes a light skin, blue eyed girl North Pole pixie scout elf and a hardbound watercolor picture book. Children can register their elf online to receive an official adoption certificate and a special letter from Santa.
You have a Talan too??? 🙂
I sure do!!! =)
I have never “met” anyone else with a Talan… AND, we spell it the same. : )
My 13 year old sons name in Tallen! Pronounced Talon. I thought it was so original but I hear it more than I thought.
We never hear it, no one else in the schools around here has it. Everyone calls him something completely wrong, always… then when I correct them I always get “Like a bird’s claw”(with weird looks) lol! I think it’s a wonderful name, we love it! 🙂
My husband’s name is TALON. And our last name is BIRD! His parents knew exactly what they were doing…..they have a great sense of humor! One of his many nicknames is “claw”.
My son is talan too!! I have never met anyone with this name either. I also get “like a birds claw”all the time. I love the name. It’s so unique
Last night Elfie snuck into our bathroom and wrote “Hi” on our mirror with toothpaste! He has been found bundled up in the fridge, and he even hung my daughter’s bra and panties on our tree. This is our first year with Elfie, Merry Christmas y’all
This is such a cute tradition. I don’t have one but I would love to do this for my grandson.
We are doing Elf next year b/c I think Olivia is possibly too hung to understand right now at 3 1/2. But she sure does understand that she only wants Santa to have ONE of her cookies on Christmas Eve night! lol
lmao YOUNG not HUNG lmao omg I need some sleep majorly!!
mine is 3 1/2 also i started it this year, i read him the book b4 bed, and he’s been telling “Scotty” (he even picked his name) what he wants Santa to bring him if he’s a good boy at school and home
Are you going to give away another elf on the shelf. I would really like to win one 😀 my son is 2 and i heard about this from a lady at work she has been doing it for years with all her children. I would love to start this in our home, i know my son may be a little young for it but he is so smart he may get the idea 😀
My son is 18 mo. I ordered one. Might start it next year. Only because we haven’t received it yet. My sister has been doing this a few years!
Wow, your elf is messy! is that how it’s supposed to be? Are they mischievous?
I have a Talyn! I’ve never even met another with any form of the name!
My nephew’s name is Talan. Super bummed that I didn’t grab it for $13 🙁 Wish they went on sale again!
There are so many cute ideas for the Elf! I liked where the elf made a snow angel in sugar on the kitchen counter. Pinterest.com is a place to find lots of ideas.
Target had these for $9.99. I never knew they only came in girl elves or I would’ve grabbed it today while I was there.
Ours is Prince Bubblegum and he has been notty He strung lights all over the youngest room and hung our underware on the stocking holders but Kelsey started getting mad so last night he took it easy and worked out with marshmallows on a toothpick 🙂
Had to comment. Our 18 year old son is Talan and I we thought we’d sort of “made up the name” by spelling it with an “a” instead of Talon. I was so surprised when I saw this post. 🙂
