I am going to share my story! I am 32 years old & have a 6 year old daugter. I was in an awful marriage with my daughter’s father. After her seeing me be abused…I didn’t want her to think that is the way a marriage works, because it isn’t. I divorced her father. I have since found someone who not just loves & respects me…he loves my daughter as if she was his own…which is admirable for a man who has no children of his own. He has changed my life…and my daugter’s life. I could not have been blessed with a better man. I can’t wait to become his wife & begin a life where daughter will have instilled in her the values set worth in a good marriage & live a happy, peaceful, fulfilled life.

I would hope to be a deserving bride. My fiance and I have 3 amazing children together and cant wait to get married. We are waiting a few years though because our families and ourselves are having a kind of rough financial situation but i know when we get married it will be amazing.
However, if I had to pick someone else Stacy Strickland who also posted her story is deserving. Any mother and woman who can get out of an abusive relationship is deserving. She showed great courage and I wish her and her future husband a happy life.
I would nominate my daughter. She has always been into fairy tales and would love a fairy tale wedding with a beautiful dress to match.
Guys, you have to click on the link and put your story there. Sharing it here, while very touching, won’t win you anything.
I would ABSOLUTELY, LOVE to have a real wedding. The date that we wanted we didn’t have time because my husband is a United States Marine. He was being deployed so we had no choice, but to go to the Justice of the Peace.( also then on out they were back to back) So, this would be one of the best things that can happen for us. He of course would wear his “dress blues”. If this should happen for us then all we need to do is start saving for this special day! Thank you for this opportunity. I am so proud of my husband and what he does for OUR country I would marry him a million times over!
Thanks again, Misty
This is 7 years in the making! ( a real wedding)
1) We dated a year.
2) Were engaged for a year.
( I had to make sure he was a “keeper” I don’t like divorces and had to make sure I could handle being a “Marine Wife”. It is an AWESOME JOB!:)
3) Then had to settle with JOP b/c of deployments and I was in a business suit.
I am a 40 year old mother of 7 who has never wore a wedding dress or had a beautiful wedding and I so desperately want this. To have that one special day to look, feel and be treated like a princess is every girls dream and I wanna have this one dream come true.
