I love Fried Cheese Bites because they are like mini cheese sticks but fried!
This next recipe only takes 3 ingredients and is super easy to make! These ingredients are things that most of us have in the kitchen that’s why I love making this. Milk, breadcrumbs and string cheese (with half & half being an optional ingredient).
Grab your frying pan and pull out the string cheese..the kiddos will surely love these!

I love this idea! They would be perfect for my daughters lunches!
I used half and half, pinko crumbs that I put in coffee grinder and seasoned, cooked in large pan w a lil olive oil….ok so I used co jack string cheese…I got globs of fried cheese….bummer…uh what did I do wrong.I improvised in ways I didn’t think would alter final product
I had the same thing happen. I think it is because the surface of the cheese is so slick. So, I took advice from my food hero Alton Brown and his Man Food Show I when he made corn dogs. He dredged the hot dogs first in cornstarch (I have cornstarch somewhere in my pantry, but I couldn’t find it, so I used flour instead). Then I dipped each in milk mixed with two beaten eggs before rolling in the crumbs. There was some leakage, but nothing like the first three that turned into big blobs that had to be scraped from the bottom and thrown away. They tasted better than a restaurant. In fact, I don’t know that I would ever be able to order them in a restaurant again. It was a hit with my son and my husband, as well. I was about to reach for a final (stick?) of fried cheese, and realized that my husband had already eaten the rest!
