April 16, 2013 at 10:24 amI own a kenmore one. I really like it. But after a while the suction stopped. This is the second one I have bought. My friend has one as well, and hers works fine and it’s a cheaper one. It is time consuming to use. But it does pay off.

April 16, 2013 at 1:02 pmTotally worth it…especially if you have kids. We vacuum seal everything. Buy hotdogs in bulk and then freeze 2 per bag. That way they don’t go bad before my toddler eats them. Also, all her cereal and snacks. That way nothing goes stale. We have found that the ZipVac vacuum bags they sell at Menards work better than the name brand Foodsaver bags, and they are much cheaper.
