My family loves pizza so I am always looking for ways to make them unique and tasty. The great thing about this recipe is that the kiddos can easily help which will make them much more prone to actually eating it. These are like homemade bagel bites except a whole lot healthier. Plus, you can change out the toppings depending on what you like such as bell peppers, mushrooms, etc. Enjoy and have fun making them…

Homemade Garlic Pizza Bagel Bites

printIngredients:

  • 6 Mini Bagels
  • 8 oz Mozzarella Cheese
  • Pepperoni Minis
  • Basil for garnish

PIZZA SAUCE:

  • 6 oz Tomato Paste
  • 3/4 cup Water
  • 1/4 cup Olive Oil
  • 2 tsp Minced Garlic
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Basil
  • 1/4 tsp Oregano
  • 1/2 tsp Salt

Directions:

  1. Combine all pizza sauce ingredients.
  2. Let stand for 2 hours.
  3. Preheat oven to 450.
  4. Split mini bagels place on oven rack at toast for 3 minutes.
  5. Top each with pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese and pepperoni. 3.jpg
  6. Place on cookie sheet and bake until cheese is melted and starting to brown (about 10 – 15 minutes).
  7. Remove and garnish with basil.

  2. In the directions and ingredients you say minced garlic and nothing about garlic powder. In the picture you show both. Why is that?
