I made these yesterday and they are wonderful. They taste so much like a PayDay candy bar, but I am sure they have less preservatives.

Made these this evening and hubby absolutely loves them. Says they are better than the real thing. For once, he’s willing to take some of these goodies to share with his co-workers (he never wants to take in what I make!). They are delicious, and I’m hoping they freeze well because the pan makes a good amount. I divided them up into squares.

I made these last week. They seemed to take a lot of time to set up for me (like overnight), but I didn’t refrigerate them – just left them on the counter. Later cut into squares – everyone thought they were actually better than Pay Days and I agree. I’m still eating them now – and the longer they sit, the more the texture is like Pay Day.

I made them and they taste better than a payday but mine seem to not set up as firm as I would like. Any ideas to help

Tried these today but substituted peanut butter for peanut butter chips. They came out delicious. Didn’t know this could be so easy. Thank you!

My dad & I made these, and I’m telling you, they couldn’t be simpler!! However, next time we make them, we might add an extra thick layer of peanuts to the bottom or wait until the ‘nougat’ cools a lil before pouring it over the bottom layer, because the nougat layer went clear to the bottom of the pan & gobbled up all the peanuts underneath. They still taste AMAZING!!! Now that I have them all cut into bite-sized pieces (easier for sharing), I’m going to dunk them in chocolate and make Baby Ruth’s out if them …. yummo!!!

Delicious candy, not difficult to make , but gets really sticky. I used plastic gloves to roll them into smalll logs.

I made theses yesterday and my husband said they are truly great, just didn’t set. It’s cold weather in idaho now and they sat on the counter for 6 hours. I put them in the fridge hoping to help the setting process. They are pretty tasty even if they don’t set!

Hubby loves Pay Days so had to try this. He loves them and so easy to make. This recipe by weight made the equivalent of 29 and a little more candy bars. This should last him a little while.
