  15. I orderd one – but I was able to edit the customization too and pick out a cute pattern, since I’m not a huge fan of the NFL! I ordered a white programmable one w/ owls and it still came out free and didn’t have to enter credit card info! I agree this sounds too good to be true, but THANK YOU for sharing it!

    • Been trying for hour, finally found number to call and was told anyone that got through, the order will probably be canceled but you will be offered a 20% off if you want to call back in 1/2 hour 🙁

  81. BOO HOO don’t hate me but I just got off the phone with them because my order wouldn’t go thru.. I knew it froze up due to overload but fig it was worth the shot and mine froze in the middle of submitting payment so that I didn’t like.. anyway, big error, dept working on it they can’t even do anything on their end and there will be a message going out from dept heads, mgr told me it was a mistake and they will not be honoring orders.. too bad, I think they should honor the ones lucky enough to get thru.. wasn’t me 🙁

  102. So I got off the phone with one of the representatives, and she said that the code is not valid, ALL orders for the crock pots are being CANCELLED. She’s not sure how it happened that the code was still in use. So, anyone that ordered, including myself WILL NOT be getting a free crock pot. 🙁

  108. A friend of mine called customer service & they said this was a REAL promotion & that the crockpots WOULD be shipped. They also said people were getting error messages, expired code messages, etc. because their site crashed. They are working on it & it will be back up at some point. So if you missed it, keep checking back!!!!!

        • How can it be a scam code??? That makes no sense! You can’t just make an order for free and it work. I got two confirmation emails saying they are being shipped. Not mad or anything I mean I didn’t pay anything!!! haha

  109. UNFORTUNATELY, IT IS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE. i CALLED THE COMPANY AND THEY SAID THAT IT IS GOING TO BE CANCELLED BECAUSE THAT COUPON CODE WAS NOT SOMETHING THAT THEY HAD ISSUED.

  113. I put in the code and got this message: The coupon you used expired on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at 12:00:00 AM.

    So it was probably an error and they made the coupon code expire. You may or may not get your orders once they realized this.

  119. I got my order confirmation. Cafepress reports on their Facebook page that the freebie was for the first 200 people to order. It is LEGIT!

    • It says on Facebook that they’re canceling everyones orders because this was a private code for 200 people and one of those people leaked it. They are canceling all orders in the next 24 hours. No skin off of my nose because they don’t have my credit card info. If they did I would’ve thought it was a scam. Also I really hope that they don’t spam my email!

  121. I just got an email cancelling my order. here’s the text:

    Unfortunately the order you placed has been canceled due to unauthorized use of a promotional code. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.

    The promotional code used was distributed strictly to the studio audience who attended the taping of “The Doctors” Show on Thursday, January 17th. This promotional code was not intended to be distributed outside of that select group of consumers. Unfortunately, a member or members of that audience appear to have widely distributed the coupon code despite the disclosure statement that it was intended solely for a single use by its holder. Due to that fact, the promotional code was discontinued and any orders placed on February 14th, 2013 using that code have been canceled.
