I am a little confused about that because, it states in there policy they price match competitors prices it does not state they exclude big lots. I would have to write there corporate office about that. It does not make sense.

We went to Walmart to get them and the first lady did it. We wanted to make sure it worked. The second lady would not because it was the ad we printed online. Make sure it is the ad from the store or news paper 🙂

For those of you having trouble price matching @ WM – print out their price match policy — it clearly states

We will match any local competitor’s advertised price.
We do not require the customers to have the ad with them to honor a competitor’s ad.

I also suggest printing out their coupon policy and carrying both with you when you shop.

Walmart will price match a local competitor’s advertised price, not everyone has a local big lots so some will not be able to do this. In general Most stores determine local to be within 20 miles of the store, however this distance is not a policy so it can vary from market to market.

At Walmart, I found Monopoly (Champion Edition – no difference other than it came with a little trophy) on sale for $5.00, Connect 4 travel size on sale for $4.00, and Battleship travel size on sale for $4.50! So I got 2 of each and all six only cost me $3 + tax!!

I tried 2 local walmarts and could not locate the travel games like connect 4 and battle ship. Are they with the other board games because I could not find them there?

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but the internet printed coupons have a restriction listed on them that says the coupon is only good for the item shown. If you got the Playsaver coupons in the 9/11/11 SS these do not list this same restriction so use the Operation one to get this deal. 🙂

You do not have to use shop at home to print these coupons. I just removed shop at home from my computer because it slowed everything down. Just go to hasbro.com to print coupons

Our Walmart will price match but then they will not accept the coupons because they claim they already gave the deal by matching prices. I think it’s dishonest because they still aren’t losing money they get paid for the coupon, but it’s disappointing.

Call corporate and report your store for this. My store tried to pull this and I called corporate and they said that it was not in their policy to not take coupons on top of a price match. So they were supposed to call my local store and let them know. Not sure if they did or not LOL.

My Wal Mart price matched and took the coupon. I got the only 3 they had, so I got 3 for $1 each. They also had Toy Story Connect 4 on clearance for $5 so I got the two they had left for $1 each. They had the travel games but they were more like $6.

I got a big no no from another posting site for putting this on there. However, the other site allows people to post using coupon fraud, hoarding and stealing coupons from other store and gas stations to use at another time. Glad to see others got in on this deal as this is where I saw this. Also there were postings of the card games and they were not on the coupons but I guess to them its ok. Love this site much better!!

My Wal-Mart price matches Big Lots all the time. I got Battleship for $1.00, Toy Story Operation for $1.00, Connect 4 for $1.00 and 5 or 6 of the travel (card) games for $1.24. Of course, my Wal-Mart seldom asks where I am matching from, since this is a weekly thing for me and I go armed with a spreadsheet and all my coupons ready. I try to make checkout as easy for them as possible, so I think they know I would never try to cheat the system.
