How To Keep Your Mirrors Fog Free
When you are showering or bathing the bathroom tends to get hot and steamy. This usually causes the mirror in the bathroom to fog over somewhat quickly. This wouldn’t be a problem if it didn’t leave residue behind and make the mirror completely unusable! However, there is an easy house hack that you can use in your bathroom to prevent foggy mirrors. All you need is a bar of soap, a soft cloth and a little bit of elbow grease. Before you know it, your mirrors will become fog free even if someone is taking the steamiest of shower.
To achieve fog free mirrors, do the following steps. Start by rubbing a bar of soap on your mirror. You only need a light coat but you want to make sure you cover the whole surface of the mirror, especially in the areas you want to defog the most. Next, take a soft cloth and wipe down the mirror, removing the soap residue as you go. If you are having any trouble removing the last bit of soap, you can use a little glass cleaner to get things moving. You now have set your mirror up to be fog free, just try to take a shower! Once you have had your steamy shower, the mirror should stay fog free. This should stick for a few uses, but as it starts to fog up again repeat the instructions.
