Calling all you fans of peaches and cream! I love peaches and I love cream so this is the perfect dessert recipe. What I really love about this recipe is how easy it is since it uses peach pie filling, cream cheese to make the cream and just a few other ingredients. Peaches and Cream Bars
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 box White Cake Mix
- 1 cup softened Butter
- 2 Eggs
- 21 oz can Peach Pie filling
- 8 oz Cream Cheese
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 2 tsp Vanilla
DIRECTIONS:
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Grease a 9×9″ pan and set aside.
- Mix together cake mix, 1 egg and butter until it forms a uniform crumbly mixture.
- Set aside 1 cup of this mixture to use as a topping later.
- Press the remaining crumb mixture into prepared pan.
- Bake for 12 minutes.
- Spread peaches on top of the baked crust
- Cream together cream cheese, remaining egg, sugar and vanilla until creamy.
- Spread cream cheese mixture over peaches.
- Sprinkle the cup of crumbs set aside earlier over the top.
- Bake for 30-34 minutes or until edges of top begin to lightly brown.
- Allow to cool then refrigerate before serving.
