This recipe was submitted by Heather! Thank you, I have never had these but the ingredients and picture looks so good!
“Hamballs”
Ingredients:
Main items:
1/2 lbs. ham ground
1 1/2 lbs. ground pork (Best thing to do is go to your local meat market and ask them to grind the ham and pork for you)
1 cup. cracker crumbs… (Ritz crackers and mash them in a bag).
1 cup. Milk
1/4 t. pepper
2 eggs
1 t. worchestire sauce
Sauce:
1 1/2 cup. brown sugar
1 T. dried mustard
1/2 cup. vinegar
1/2 cup. water
Directions:
Keep the sauce items separate, mix all the “main items” together with the meat and form into round balls (as big or little as you want). Set aside.
For the sauce: Bring this mixture to a boil and pour over balls.
Cover with tinfoil and bake for 2 hours at 350 degrees. After 40 minutes of it baking take the tinfoil off and continue checking the hamballs every 15 minutes. Flip them so they don’t burn.

I told you all I would show you my recipe for the Leek Rice I make….I am

1 – You need to soak the leek stems in a bowl of water because these have a TON of dirt in them and this is the best way to get the dirt out of all the crevices…I was going to post a picture of the dirtiness inside my leek but I didn’t want to gross you all out….this is a recipe for a meal after all.
2 – Finely chop the leek and put in your rice cooker over the rice and water.
3 - After you cook the rice with the leeks, it will look like the above picture. Add as much Tahini (peanut butter taste) and greek yogurt as you’d like!
On a side note – I am having something that you may think sounds better….grilled steak and a sweet potato! Here’s a fun tip though….In my sweet potato I use Plain Greek Yogurt instead of Sour cream and guess what?! It’s healthier for ya and tastes the same!

(Tammy’s son who can hardly wait to eat this yummy meal!)
