How To Sanitize Eyeshadow Palettes & Pressed Powder

It’s really important that everything in and around the house stays clean on a regular basis  right? Well, the same rule applies to your makeup and beauty products. Two products that tend to attract germs quickly are eyeshadow palettes and pressed powder. Cleaning them with this quick and easy method will not only help your make up last longer, it will remove any germs that can cause break outs on your face! Check out the instructions below to learn how to sanitize eyeshadow palettes and pressed powder:

Ingredients Needed:

  • Make Up Palette’s Of Choice
  • Rubbing Alcohol
  • Small Make Up Brush (For Cleaning Only)
  • Tissues

Instructions:

  1. Start by lightly wiping all palette surfaces with a dry Kleenex, you may need several to avoid mixing colours. This is to remove the top layer of germs.
  2. Next, dip your make up brush into a small amount of rubbing alcohol and shake off any excess. Make sure your brush is only slightly damp with the alcohol.
  3. Take the brush and lightly sweep it across the top of each colour and powder. This will sanitize the surfaces and remove any germs that might be hanging on!
  4. Do this regularly to keep powders and eyeshadows clean and sanitized!
