Guacamole Recipe
I was an adult before I had tried a guacamole recipe. It always looked weird to me. After I tried it though, I found I love it. My kids were eating avocados at 8 months old, and since they have found they enjoy guacamole as a great snack as well. Here’s our easy recipe for some great guacamole, fantastic as a simple dip or a topping on many dishes.
Simple Guacamole Recipe
Ingredients
- 3 Avocados
- 1/4 C tomatoes, diced
- 1 T Prepared horseradish
- 1 lime, juiced
- Salt, to taste
- Garlic powder, to taste
Instructions
- Slice open the avocados and scoop out the flesh, discarding the seeds. Mash with a fork.
- Add the lime juice and mix well.
- Toss in the tomatoes, horseradish, salt and garlic powder. Mix well. Adjust the salt and garlic powder to your taste.
- Serve with tortilla chips, pita crisps, or as a topping on your favorite foods.
