This Stress Relieving Detox drink is sure to make you feel better and there are many reasons why…
I have a fetish with drinking things for health….I LOVE making detox drinks, smoothies, and lots of fruit water! This drink always make me feel refreshed especially since it’s been well over 100 degrees almost every day here.
Let me just tell you some of the health benefits of this drink…
First of all, Pineapple…not only does it taste delicious it also has natural anti-oxidant that helps to improve your body’s immune system. Plus, it has natural digestive enzymes that help with constipation, high blood pressure, and intestinal worms.
Then you have Strawberries which are packed full of nutrients. Strawberries are rich in vitamins A, C and E, they are full of iron, vitamin K and folic acid. The also have a small laxative effect which is great for a detox.
Next is a tad bit of Apple Cider Vinegar! I always feel happier and better when I have this in my drink (I try to drink it every day). This is SO good for you and you can see ALL of the reasons and 20 Uses for Apple Cider Vinegar (Weight Loss, Acne, Hair, Skin, and MORE!) in my post here.
Lastly, you’ve got Basil which is the powerhouse of all essential nutrients. It’s filled with anti-bacterial agents and antioxidants, to help to protect your liver by removing toxins!

You lost me at vinegar 🙁 but the rest sounds good!
LOL Amy! Here’s a suggestion about the vinegar, put a little less in and drink this with a straw. Drinking it with a straw really makes it so you can’t taste the vinegar. Or you can always leave it out…the drink will still help you without it but I encourage you to at least try a tiny bit in the drink with a straw because it is SO extremely good for you. =) Hope that helps!
this good yummy!! I’m going to try this tomorrow after my morning jog!! thanks!!
Can this be frozen
How often can I drink this?
Do I eat the fruit and basil to get the beneficial effects?
I am not very computer savy, but I never saw the actual recipe. I’m not sure how much of each ingredient to use. Am I missing something?? Help!! This drink sounds so great
Sounds refreshing. I’m putting this on my must try list. Thanks for posting on I Should Be Mopping the Floor’s Inspiration Mondays. That’s where I found your post.
Cheers!

This sounds like a yummy alternative to strait Apple cider vinegar and I am going to test it for breakfast!
This drink is delicious! Thanks for the recipe 🙂
Refreshing and good for you sounds like a winning combination. I’m anxious to see what the vinegar does to the taste.
Thanks so much for sharing your awesome recipe with Full Plate Thursday. Hope you have a great weekend and hope to see you soon!

HELP!! I made this recipe but tried doubling it so I would have two gallons and could just store it in the fridge and drink it whenever. Problem is I put to much Apple Cider Vinegar and now it taste like nothing but vinegar. What can I do to take some of the vinegar taste away? I don’t want to throw away what I made if I don’t have to.
Thanks
Add more of everything else until it is good again maybe..
It sounds ok considering I don’t like most healthy foods. Maybe you could make this into a smoothie type of thing? The main thing I don’t like is the texture of things. Maybe adding a little low fat yogurt (which also has health benefits) could make it a good smoothie?
Hope you are having a great weekend and thank you so much for sharing with Full Plate Thursday.
Come Back Soon!

I say drink the vinegar in a shot glass then chase it with the fruit water.
The question I have is, line 2 says: “Then add all fruit to the cold water but smash it and squeeze it into the drink” but if you look at the photo, the only thing that appears to have been smashed are the basil leaves. Or are we to mash in strawberries and then add new ones?
This drink sounds really good to make but I have only one question. You mentioned in your recipe to smash all the ingredients before stirring them together with the apple cider but as I’m looking at the photos the strawberries and pineapples are still whole. Can you please explain in detail what you meant by smashing the ingredients? Thank you
SOUNDS GREAT,,CANT WAIT TO TRY,,THANKS FOR SHARING
Would this be okay while breastfeeding??
What can I use a a substitute for strawberries, allergic to this and kiwi.
How long and how many of these drinks can i have in the refrigerated before it gets bad and by the way great tips thanks
This was so good! I love it I think im going to drink it at least once a week.
