These Christmas cookies are extremely easy to make and look super cute for Christmas parties, bake sales, etc. I just use a cake mix for these cookies and add in some red and green M&M’s. You can also use these for other holidays, just use different colored M&M’s like orange and brown for Thanksgiving or Pink and Red for Valentine’s day. Enjoy!

Christmas M&M Cake Mix Cookies

Ingredients: 

  • 1 box Chocolate Cake Mix
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Vegetable Oil
  • 1 cup Christmas M&M’s (Red and Green)

Directions: 

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Mix together cake mix, oil and eggs.
  3. Fold in M&M’s.
  4. Form about 1″ balls of cookie dough and place onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  5. Bake for 9 minutes.
  6. Allow to cool on cookie sheet.

These Eggnog cookies are a huge hit around here! My hubby doesn’t even like Eggnog but he loves these delicious cookies. The frosting is to die for, it is creamy and sweet and my favorite thing about the cookie (and it’s Eggnog flavored, yum!). Have fun making these this Holiday season. Enjoy…

Eggnog Cookies

INGREDIENTS:

Cookies:

  • 2 1/4 cup Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 3/4 cup softened Butter
  • 2 Egg Yolks
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1/2 cup Eggnog

Icing:

  • 4 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1/3 cup Eggnog
  • 1/4 cup softened Butter
  • Nutmeg 1

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  3. Whisk together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  4. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar together.
  5. Add egg yolks, vanilla and eggnog and beat until smooth.
  6. Gradually add dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and stir until combined. 2
  7. Chill dough for at least 30 minutes.
  8. Place teaspoon sized balls of dough onto the prepared sheet. 3
  9. Bake for 18 minutes or until bottoms are lightly browned.
  10. Place cookie on a wire rack to cool. 4
  11. Mix together powdered sugar, butter and eggnog until blended.
  12. Spread icing on cooled cookies and sprinkle with nutmeg.
