follow me Crock Pot baked apples melt in your mouth. I love using my Crock Pot because you can make some really easy but tasty recipes in it! These apples taste like apple pie but are actually healthier since they don’t have a crust but they taste just as good since they do have a “crumble” on top. Crock pot baked apples are sweet, soft and crunchy. Make a lot because they won’t last long.  😉 Enjoy…

Crock Pot Baked Apples with Caramel

Ingredients

  • Be sure to Folllow Raining Hot Coupons on Pinterest for more RECIPES!
  • 6 Apples (I recommend any red apple, they are sweeter)
  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 6 pats of butter
  • Caramel sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cut the center of your apple and using a spoon, pull out the core, seeds and center
  2. Combine oats, brown sugar, and cinnamon then fill each apple
  3. Place a pat of butter on top of each apple
  4. Pour remaining mixture over top butter
  5. Bake on high for about 2-3 hours.
  6. Drizzle with caramel sauce
  7. Enjoy!

Crock pot cooking is the best! You can easily make most things in a slow cooker including delicious dessert! What I love most about this Crockpot Cherry Pie dessert is that it only takes 3 ingredients and it turns out perfect! Some people also call this dessert a Crockpot Cherry dump cake , they also use different fruits as well like peaches or rhubarb.  We love the Cherry dump cake variety
