Aren’t these pizzas super cute?! I love making these with the kids for a snack or quick and easy lunch. I bet you probably have most of everything you need in your pantry/fridge right now. You just need some string cheese, crackers, olives and some type of a sauce like pizza sauce or tomato sauce works too. 😉 Enjoy!

Spider Web Pizza Snacks

INGREDIENTS

  • Pizza Sauce
  • Round Crackers, Sandwich Slim Buns and/or Pita Breads
  • String Mozzarella Cheese
  • Black Olives 1

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 375.
  2. If using slim buns, separate the halves.
  3. Take your pizza bases (cracker, bun or pita) and cover with pizza sauce.
  4. Take string cheese and open and pull into strings.
  5. Take 4 strings and lay across the base like you would cut a pizza.
  6. Cut more strings into smaller pieces to go across each “slice” of the pizza. 2
  7. To make a spider, cut the ends off of 2 olives one slightly large than the other.
  8. These 2 will be the head and body.
  9. Cut 2 slices off of the already cut olive and cut those slices in half to make legs for the spider.
  10. Place on spider on each pizza.
  11. Place on cookie sheet and bake until cheese is melted (about 10 minutes).
  12. You can optionally put eyes on the spider by dipping a toothpick in mustard and touching it to the head.

Candy Corn Drink

Ingredients

  • Be sure to Folllow Raining Hot Coupons on Pinterest for more RECIPES!
  • 2 Cups mango nectar (this is normally found in the Mexican food aisle or juice aisle)
  • 1 Box of lemon-flavor gelatin (I use Lemon Jell-O)
  • 1 Cup boiling water
  • 3 1/2 Cups cold orange soda
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • Candy corn for topping

Instructions

  1. Start boiling water
  2. Add gelatin to boiling water and stir until disolved
  3. Stir in mango nectar
  4. Pour mixture into a clear 2 quart pitcher
  5. Cover and put in fridge for 3 hours (may take a little longer - you want it thick but not set)
  6. Gently pour orange soda in (TIP - This tip helps a TON, stick a wooden spoon right over top the gelatin mix and pour the orange soda with your cup touching the spoon, over top the wooden spoon so the soda runs down the spoon. Do this SLOWLY.
  7. Combine whipping cream and honey then mix with a beater for a few minutes until peaks form in whipped cream.
  8. Use a spoon to softly put the whip over the soda...it doesn't sink like you'd think.
  9. Enjoy! (Stir before drinking)

Candy Corn Cupcakes

Ingredients

  • Be sure to Folllow Raining Hot Coupons on Pinterest for more RECIPES!
  • Cupcakes
  • Box of white cake mix + ingredients on box
  • yellow food coloring
  • orange food coloring (or yellow + red to make orange)
  • Frosting
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk, room temperature
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla or other desired flavoring
  • 2 pounds confectioners' sugar
  • orange food coloring (or yellow+ red to make orange)
  • bag for frosting
  • 1M Wilton frosting tip

Instructions

  1. Make cake mix as instructed on the box. Divide batter into two separate bowls. Make one yellow, and the other orange. This will take quite a bit of food coloring, so be patient while mixing!
  2. Bake as directed, and allow to cool before frosting.
  3. Combine all frosting ingredients EXCEPT food coloring in large mixing bowl and mix until smooth. Set aside about 1/2 of the frosting for the white part, and another half to mix.
  4. Make 1/2 of the frosting orange.
  5. When frosting cupcakes, first start with the white, then add orange to the mixing bag. You'll need to repeat this process several times, as the swirl will only be effective for a few cupcakes at a time. If all else fails, frost one swirl white (or the other way around if you want it opposite) and then top with an orange/yellow swirl.

Halloween food is so much fun! These Halloween Witch Finger Cookies were actually very simple to make and don’t you think they look pretty real? My son told me they look like a really mean creatures fingers…that will work too!  😉

These would be perfect for a Halloween party, kids school party or even just for a fun Halloween food night at home with the family.

I want to give you a tip when making these….flour is your best friend! Without a lot of flour in them they will not rise properly and be flat, smashed fingers (I guess that would work if you are going for the ran over finger look).  🙂 Anyway see how to add flour below.

Halloween Witch Finger Cookies

Ingredients

  • Be sure to Folllow Raining Hot Coupons on Pinterest for more RECIPES!
  • 1 roll sugar cookie dough (in the fridge section) or your own sugar cookie recipe
  • 1-2 cups flour
  • sliced or whole almonds peeled
  • Cocoa powder
  • small paint brush (like a watercolor brush)

Instructions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Take sugar cookie dough mix out of packaging and knead 1 cup of flour into it (you may need to add a few drops of water if it gets too dry). This part is the hardest part but just work at it and it will eventually combine.
  3. Pull off a piece of dough (about the size of half a golf ball) and you are going to want to add as much more flour as you can to that piece before it starts to break up
  4. Make that piece into a finger shape but make sure it is a little thinner than your finger (you want these pretty thin because they will expand. I found it was easier to use my hand and squeeze it into a finger shape rather than rolling it since this dough is full of flour.
  5. Shape the knuckles and using the back of a knife, press wrinkle lines into it.
  6. Add the almond to the tip
  7. Bake for 7-8 minutes
  8. Pull out of oven and right away, press the almond into the tip to make it look like a big cuticle
  9. After cooling for a few minutes use a paintbrush and cocoa powder to make it look more real.
  10. Enjoy!
