I love this Strawberry Lemonade Recipe!

I am so excited for Summer and one of my favorite things about it is enjoying the outdoors….When it gets hot outside, it is SO nice to have some sweet and fresh home made lemonade. Add some Strawberries and it gets even better!

This next recipe is super easy and makes a delicious Summer treat.

Strawberry Lemonade Recipe

Ingredients

Simple Syrup (to sweeten it):

2 cups water
1 cup sugar
Lemonade:
1 tupperware Strawberries (about 2-3 cups)
2 Cups cold water
1 Cup Lemon Juice (you can squeeze this)
Ice

Instructions

Heat the 2 cups of water and 1 cup sugar over stove until the sugar is disolved.
Set aside.
Add 1 cup water AND strawberries to blender and puree (you can pulse a few times). I recommend doing this a lot so the pulp isn't as thick (you can always strain the pulp later too for the kiddos).
To a pitcher add the squeezed lemon, ice and water.
Then add pureed strawberries and simple sugar mixture and stir!
Voila! Fresh, sweet and tangy lemonade!

Easy and Quick, Italian Ice in Minutes!

With the aid of a great blender, you’ll have Italian Ice in minutes! You can also make this up in larger batches and freeze it, serving it up with a splash of a lemon-lime soda for a fizzy twist. For parties, I’ll add a splash of vodka or white rum for the adults, making this a great refresher beverage. And, if you’re not worried about the calories, you can use regular sugar too! This is such a versatile recipe!

Italian Ice Recipe ~ Stevia Sweetened for Your Sipping Pleasure

Ingredients

2 lemons, juiced and seeds removed
1 T stevia
2 C ice

Instructions

Add the ingredients to the jar of a blender.
Pulse until the ice cubes are slushed.
Serve immediately or freeze for later.
