Tortilla Pizza ~ A Quick Snack
Every once in a while, I need a quick snack, or the kids are home for a moment on a break and need lunch, and Tortilla Pizza makes that happen. From fridge to plate in about 15 minutes, you will have a tasty, quick snack or light meal that is delicious.
Make Tortilla Pizza Your Favorite
I always have some type of tortilla in the fridge. This recipe doesn’t care much about what kind of tortilla you use for your Tortilla Pizza. I’ve used corn, wheat, and flavored, and they all work amazing. I use whatever sauce I have leftover from another meal. Sometimes it’s pizza sauce, sometimes pasta, and sometimes a rich homemade alfredo. Everything works for this. I’ve even used salsa before when I was out of sauce. It added a nice spice to the Tortilla Pizza that my family loved. Toss on some pepperoni, veggies, and cheese, and you have a fantastic pizza!
- 1 tortilla, any type
- 1/4 C pasta or pizza sauce
- 1/4-1/2 shredded cheese
- your favorite toppings
- Heat oven to 425 degrees F.
- Place the tortilla on a baking sheet.
- Top with sauce, toppings, and cheese.
- Bake 7-10 minutes, until tortilla is crispy and cheese is melted.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
