I love making Muddy Buddies because they are so cute in a clear glass jar and a great snack to munch on! The kiddos can totally help make these too (which I love).
Have fun with these and be sure to make enough because it won’t last long!

Ingredients
- 9 cups rice cereal, such as Chex
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1-1/2 cups confectioner's sugar
- 2 cups Candy Corn
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a large bowl, add the cereal and also set aside.
- In a microwave safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter. Microwave on high for 1 minute and then stir. Continue microwaving in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the mixture is smooth. Mix in the vanilla.
- Pour into a large 2 gallon size ziplock bag, add the confectioner's sugar. Seal the bag well and shake until the cereal mixture is well coated.
- Pour the treats onto the prepared tray to cool. When the Muddy Buddies have cooled, transfer it to a large airtight container and add in the candy corn. For this mix, I used the orange and brown - this would be great for Thanksgiving or Halloween.
- Mix to combine. Store in an airtight container.
