I am so not being funny, this is a serious question…..why does anyone need 28 bottles of body wash? Once again this is NOT a mean/rude question….I am just curious that’s all. 1 bottle would last a family of 4 probably 2 weeks at least….Do you donate them Beverly? How do you get 28 coupons too? Fill me in lol

Hi Sarah, I know for myself when I get a large quantity like Beverly did with the dial, it’s probably b/c I really love the product and for me, the product has hit my ideal price point and I want to take advantage of it while I can. Plus different people go through body washes quicker than others. For example I find that men go through body wash way slower than women. So that could be a reason to get more (more women in the family?) plus a bottle for a family of 4 for two weeks??yikes sarah I think that is a bit off.more like a lot off and I am guessing a family of 4 would most likely be in a household of 2 bathrooms and there would have to be 2 bottles in use in that household at the same time. By my guess if that were the case, the 28 bottles have set them up for atleast 6 months which is the recommended amount to stockpile (3-6 months worth of supply to last you until the next really good sale). The amount of coupons can be acquired by possibly dumpster diving, collecting some from recycle centers, family members who don’t coupon save inserts for you, clipping services, or buying them from ebay. hope that answers some of your curiosities!

Or, as Publix has it as a BOGO this week, you can use two coupons to get the overage, or if you only have one, use it plus the overage you get on Bayer aspirin to cover so that you get two full size Dial Body Washes for free. Even though I’m stocked w/ like 12 body washes, will add two more to the stockpile when I go shopping later today.

I’m all about overages, but think I’d prefer two full sized bottles of product than a trial-size and a buck.

Full size for body wash is great when it is free or close to it as we have seen them to be especially with the last Nivea deal. Plus think of it this way, if you can get atleast 6 trial size bottles of dial it equals 1 full size body wash PLUS $6.18 in overage! If you cant stand to have 6 little trials of anything, consider saving your old full size body washes and when these deals come about just pour them all in the full size.

          Elizabeth,
I like that idea saving your old body washes and reuse them when you have trial sizes.

I’ve never tried the Dial body washes before. If the coupon comes to us out here, it’ll be a great excuse to try it.

I buy the travel size when the coupons allows, IF IF IF, I don’t use the product regularly. I will then take the travel size items with me when I go camping etc. It makes it simple and quick when packing items for a trip. The Tide mini packs are especially convenient to do like that.

Side note, the Purex 3 in 1 clothes are great for camping. There are no heavy bottles to cart around. You can throw one in the washer then straight to the dryer, super simple. I usually use the earth friendly soaps/detergents, but I’ll sacrifice it a couple times a year for convenience.

Be prepared for a fight. Just got back from my attempt at my location. CSM told me she couldn’t give me $2 off a .97 cent item. Even though we looked that the coupon had nothing on it dealing with “trial size” and had coupon policy in tow. She stated “that’s how we’ve been trained.” and I would need a email from home office for her to do it. I always have issues with Wal Mart with couponing.

I’d been waiting since I heard about this deal on Friday to do this deal. Bought 5 extra papers and was able to buy 7 trial size body washes and my favorite baby wipes for $1.97 @ my Walmart here in IL. I <3 coupons!!!

I talked to the manager at my local gas station where I was buying papers and he told me that if I came back after 5pm on Sundays that I could just take the inserts since the paper did sell after 5. I now go every Sunday at 5pm and get around 11 inserts! It’s great and now I don’t have to buy the paper… Ask see what they say… Ask what happens to the papers if they don’t sell and take it from there. 🙂

I had a gay cashier at Walmart and she said that they don’t do overage… and she got the manager over he said that they don’t either and I said I’ve done this multiple times before and it always works. I got out of line and went to a different cashier. She could have cared less…. Got 15 items for $2.00. Sometimes coupons just make it difficult… I now know how to pick out my cashier. TEENAGERS! lol

I totally agree with that. I now it might be wrong but i have found that teenagers don’t argue with me as much unless it’s something the computer kicks back. Because i use to not worry at Walmart with my cashier and found I always left so anger that at one point i said i would never go into another Walmart again. But them i realized just watch who i go to in line and i do just fine.

If you are having problems with Walmart, as I always did in the past, you need to print the NEW overage coupon policy!!! IT has saved a lot of time and fighting for me, it is in black and white for them to see!

Can someone give me some coupon websites to buy these off of? Ebay is selling them 20 for $10 or more! That’s paying $.50 per coupon, but an overage of $10.00 instead of $20.00. I already had to pay tax on my Sunday paper, because every single paper was gone in the paper wracks this Sunday!

Wal-mart does overages. Go to their corporate website and print the coupon policy. I had 11 $2.00 dial coupons. I bought 11 trial size (they work great for me because I travel a lot with my job). I had $11.33 in overages, so I gabbed a couple of box of fabric sofeners for 1.87 using a .75 coupon and a couple of boxes of All Detergent using a $1.00 off coupon and left the store with Walmart paying me $2.15 to take it away. It was truely a rush and it was my first time . I am completely hooked now. $23.53 in merchandise, all free with change back. The only thing I fail to do because of my excitement, was to ask them to match the detergent price with another store price. Had I done that, I would have walked away with 5 boxes of detergent instead of 2. That won’t happen again.
