I have a secret to keeping my house clean…It’s such an EASY way to keep up on the house so it never takes longer than 30 minutes to clean your entire house spotless.
You have to be organized and follow a list. Then, instead of trying to get a lot done in a day, you just keep it simple every single day. That’s why I’ve created a FREE Printable Weekly House Cleaning list for all of you. This is my list and what I follow every day and every week. Feel free to print it out and try it, I promise it will make your house sparkle. 😉
For example, to keep up on the laundry, make sure you do 1 load EVERY single day! Even if it’s just half a load….do it…trust me. If there happens to be a day you only have a couple pieces to wash or nothing at all throw in some rugs, towels, bedding, or anything you can find. This helps a ton to keep the laundry done and everything washed.
The other reason it works is because it’s so easy to know that all you have to do on Monday is just wipe all countertops (on top of the daily chores)…it will take 10 minutes to do it and that’s it, your done for the day! Doesn’t that sound nice? Plus, since you are doing all these things once a week, your whole house will always be clean because your floors will be mopped once a week, toilets cleaned once a week and with my list you’ll be vacuuming 3 times a week. I paired up the vacuuming with easy tasks so that days cleaning session would still be easy!
The last reason it works is because you have “daily chores” that you need to do every day. These are easy but they will keep your house pretty dang spotless. So, everyday you will make beds, do your load of laundry, unload the dishwasher and do a 10 minute pick-up. Set your timer and clean up any clutter or out of place items in 10 minutes!
I left Sunday open so you can either not do anything that day and have a day to rest or add anything you’d like.
Then, in the spot where it says “Goals for the week” this is a good place to put anything you want to focus on “deep cleaning”. For example, ceiling fans, wiping baseboards, etc. I highly recommend doing this because it will keep things really clean.
TIPS of what to put in the “Goals for the Week” section:
- Wash all bedding
- Wash Rugs
- Clean Baseboards
- Wipe down ceiling fans
- Clean out fridge
- Organize pantry
- Fill a garbage bag full of things you find around your house you no longer want
- Sweep garage
- Sweep patio
- Clean couch
