This weight loss detox drink makes you feel better and is very refreshing.

This next recipe is for a weight loss detox drink. It helps to flatten your tummy and helps you to feel great. I always love drinking detox drinks especially during the Summer (see my Stress Relieving Detox drink here) so I have no problem drinking this refreshing drink. What’s nice is that is makes a good amount and you drink 2-3 glasses a day which means it will last you  a few days. Also, since you are drinking 2 glasses, that goes towards your needed daily water intake.

Also, I have been drinking this myself and have already lost 3 pounds….simply AMAZING!!!

There are a couple reasons this detox drink recipe helps with belly fat….First would be the hydration aspect. Making sure you drink enough water every day will help you lose weight by itself. Then add these special ingredients like ginger (which helps calm your GI tract) and you’ve got an awesome detox.

Benefits of mint - Mint leaves can help you lose weight because it stimulates the digestion of fat. Mint helps in eliminating toxins from the body and also helps with tummy aches.

Benefits of Lemon – they are full of Vitamin C and lemon juice is a digestive aid and liver cleanser.

Benefits of Cucumber – Did you know that cucumber actually has 95% water content that is actually more nutritious than plain water?! It will help keep you hydrated and also helps in flushing out the toxins from the body.

Benefits of Lime – The citric acid  in lime is an excellent fat burner and is full of antioxidants.

  1. Cut the lemon, lime and cucumber into thin slices with peels

  3. Combine all of the ingredients and stir

Crock-Pot Tangy Pulled Pork Sandwich

Ingredients:

2 quarts water
1 Lemon
1 Cucumber
1 Tablespoon grated Fresh Ginger
1 Lime
Fresh Mint (about 10-15 leaves)

Directions:

Cut the lemon, lime and cucumber into thin slices with peels
Grate the ginger
Combine all of the ingredients and stir
Place the detox water in the fridge for a few hours and drink 2-3 glasses a day!

        I change mine every 5 days just keep topping up with water with drinking this during the day doing some walking and making my meal sizes smaller I have lost 12kg in 3months

          can you explain more on how you lost 12kg in 3months? like what you eat and how long do you walk and how you motivate yourself. its colder now, so its easy to get hungry, so do you know how to overcome this problem ? i always walk to my school around 0.5miles everyday, if included with going back so it will be 1mile per day. i need to lose 10-12 kg as soon as possible. please help me. im 20, my weight 56kg my height is 155cm.

    I did the Flat Belly Diet (or tried) several years ago…it was this water that turned me off; I couldn’t choke it down. Though I can have cucumber, mint, lemon and lime in my water…this just didn’t work for me. I don’t know if it was the ginger that threw it all off, or just the combination of everything…but I couldn’t do it and since it is the staple of this particular diet..I decided it wasn’t the diet for me.

      I tried this today and honestly, I couldn’t choke it down either…I do believe it’s the ginger. I dumped it out and refilled it with fresh water…will see if its any better in a few.

    Mint is an acid and Lemon and Lime are Extremely acidic – so please be careful drinking this. As with any weight loss program, talk to a doctor. Losing weight is not worth drilling holes in your stomach.

      I started to notice a difference within 2 weeks…my energy levels were higher. And after the first month I noticed I needed new jeans!!! 15 ibls off in 4 months!!!!! Don’t get the cheap stuff though. go to palo azul tea dot com. I promise you will not be disappointed :)

    Thanks for posting! I made this today but increased the ingredients. I doubled everything and put it in a 2.15 gallon container. If you don’t like ginger to much i would not recommend doubling. It tastes great too. Let’s see this work now :)
